ESIA Disclosure
ADHPL announces the publication of the updated and revised Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Management Plan for the Allain Duhangan Project. This publication provides additional information on the project's impacts on biodiversity in the project area based on multi-season studies. This publication also includes an environmental and social impact assessment and management plan for the project's 175km transmission line from Manali to Nalagarh. Hindi translations of the executive summaries of both publications are also provided. Hard copies of all documents are available at the following locations:

The revised and updated ESIA for ADHPL has been released after incorporating the following:
- Updating of terrestrial and riverine ecological baseline studies completed in year 2006;
- Updating of environmental baseline data collected by the Project in the year 2007;
- Forest Clearance for 9.55 ha of additional forestland required for non forest purposes obtained in April 2008;
- ESIA study completed for the 175 km long Transmission line in August 2008;
- Incorporating comments received on Draft of the revised and updated ESIA submitted to the Project in October 2008.
